Jackalope

The Jackalope is a mythical animal from North American folklore, described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. Even though there are many variations to the legend, its unusual appearance makes it a very interesting subject for painting. In this illustration, I wanted to depict a Jackalope among several natural and magical elements, as a small tribute to its inventive and mysterious stories. Digital painting made in Procreate.
